Meet the Hialeah Team Behind Sightline Windows & Doors Hialeah

Every window and door we install in Hialeah passes through the hands of the same crew you’ll read about here. We don’t rotate in day laborers or subcontract the finishing work. Sonia Raman built this team on the idea that the person who measures your rough opening should be the one who checks the sightline when the sash goes in. That consistency is what keeps our callback rate low and our customer photo records clean.

Marco T., Lead Technician

Marco has been setting windows in South Florida since 2009, three years before Sightline opened in Hialeah. He’s certified in PGT and CGI impact installation, and he’s the one who catches frame racking before the foam goes in. On a job in West Hialeah last spring, he caught a 3/8-inch sill slope error that the previous contractor had shimmed over - the homeowner still has that photo in their evidence folder. Off the clock, Marco rebuilds vintage motorcycle engines and applies the same tolerance standards: if the piston ring gap is wrong, you don’t seal it with extra RTV.

Darlenys R., Senior Installer

Darlenys came up through ECO Window Systems’ factory training program in Miami-Dade before joining us in 2018. She specializes in custom and geometric openings, the jobs where the template doesn’t exist until she builds it. Her U-factor and SHGC calculations are written into every energy-efficient proposal she touches - no hand-waving about “savings,” just the rated performance against FPL territory rates. Darlenys keeps a notebook of every oddball opening she’s solved: clerestory triangles in Palm Springs North, radius tops in Hialeah Gardens, a trapezoid in a 1956 Mid-Century she still references. She’ll tell you the only thing worse than a bad angle is a bad angle you didn’t document.

Jorge L., Service Coordinator

Jorge answers the phones that ring at 10:47 p.m. when a homeowner realizes their sliding door won’t lock before a storm. He’s been with Sightline since 2015, which means he’s heard every version of “the other guy said…” and knows how to turn a free second opinion into a measured survey the customer actually keeps. Jorge schedules every crew by name, not by slot - he knows Marco won’t touch a Therma-Tru pre-hung until he’s seen the jamb plumb, and he knows Darlenys needs 48 hours notice for custom glazing orders. He grew up in Hialeah, still lives two miles from the warehouse, and can describe the permit difference between Miami-Dade County and City of Hialeah without opening a file.

Esteban V., Apprentice Installer

Esteban joined us in 2023 after two years in general construction that left him tired of watching good materials go in badly. He’s working through his CWS certification now, and Marco won’t let him touch impact-rated hardware until he can explain the difference between a Miami-Dade HVHZ rating and a standard Florida Building Code approval. Esteban’s current responsibility is the photo record on every job - every shim, every bead of sealant, every final sightline check. He takes it seriously because he saw a lawsuit on his last job where the contractor had no evidence. He’s also the reason we started keeping extra water in the van; he grew up in a house without reliable AC and knows what eight hours in a Hialeah July feels like.

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a poster on the wall. It’s the document Sonia Raman wrote in 2012 when she realized the window business ran on verbal promises and disappearing crews. Every member of this team operates under the same five clauses: Have it in writing, Arrive on schedule, Verified crews, Evidence on every job, No surprises.

That means Marco’s license number is on the schedule Jorge emails you. Darlenys’s product spec is the same one in your written quote, not a substitute pulled from stock. Esteban’s photo record uploads before the crew leaves your driveway. And if any of it is not done right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise is in force - not because we expect to use it, but because we’ve made the mistake of assuming a job was finished when it was only closed.
