Signs Your ViewLux Door Installation Is Failing

• The panel drags or sticks in the track. This usually means the tandem rollers have flat-spotted or the axle pins have corroded. In Hialeah, we see this accelerated by irrigation overspray pooling in the sill track and the calcium buildup that follows.

There is one thing a ViewLux owner can safely check: open the panel, look down at the sill track, and clear any debris or hardened calcium with a plastic putty knife. Do not use a screwdriver; the track walls are aluminum and gouge easily. If the rollers still don’t glide, stop. The tandem roller housing is under spring tension, and the mortise lock interfaces with the handle through a precisely timed linkage.
